The Approach

I utilize an eclectic combination of theories with a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution-Focused, & Narrative Theory.

The Introduction

Motivational Interviewing to begin resolving ambivalent emotions or cognitions which, in turn, helps you find the internal motivation you need to change your behavior.

The Process

Interventions focused on unraveling the presenting issue and the subtle ways it can manifest and persist in your thoughts, words, and actions.

The Technique

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) certification allows for either full EMDR sessions or simply utilizing the secondary skills.

&

Psychoeducation - Learn what you’re subconsciously doing, why you’re doing it, and how to change it.

&

Simile & Metaphor Conceptualization - To help you visualize your presenting issue in new ways.

&

Authentic human connection - This is what makes my style of therapy effective. I’m not a cold, overly professional robot.

&

Specialized Experience - tools and techniques are tailored to your lifestyle, personality, and availability.
